
Job Summary: Under the general direction of the Program Director, plans, develops and implements a comprehensive Teen Program that will meet the needs and interests of the youth served by the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs.
Note: This position is funded through a grant for 1 yr (October 1,2009 – September 30,2010)
Salary: $11.00 per hour
Hours Per Week; After School: 25 Hours Per Week, Summer, 40 hours Per week
Skills/Knowledge Required: The Teen Program Instructor should be an individual with a minimum of a high school degree, and preferably a current college student or graduate. The individual should have a love for working with teenagers, good people skills, talent and knowledge in counseling, education and computer skills, and be an organized, responsible, creative, results- oriented performer. Must have a valid Georgia Driver’s License and be able to meet the requirements of The Salvation Army’s Vehicle Insurance Plan.
