SEXUAL ASSAULT AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CENTER EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Center (SADVC) of Yolo County is seeking a collaborative, strategic and visionary Executive Director who can lead the organization, integrate services, and work with community partners to continue the work of this well respected community based organization. Having served the community for over 30 years, SADVC is preparing to move to a newly renovated facility. A staff of 25 works with a range of programs including a 24-hour crisis line, counseling and legal services, outreach, advocacy and a shelter. The organizations budget is approximately $1M.
The Executive Director Reports To A 10 Member Board Of Directors And Is Responsible For The Following:
Manage and direct the affairs of the agency subject to policy approval of the Board of Directors. Provide leadership in developing and implementing the Centers mission, goals, programs and projects. Provide leadership to and work closely with the Management Team composed of the Director of Alternatives to Violence and Community Outreach, Therapy Director, Shelter Director, Legal Services Director and the Finance Director. Ensure fiscal accountability and compliance with all local, state and federal regulations and standards. Provide leadership in planning, developing and implementing short and long-term funding goals. Direct all public relations activities, client relations and interagency relations functions. Has chief administrative responsibilities for the agency; and carries chief staff responsibility to ensure that the legal obligations and public accountability of the agency are met.

Knowledge of non-profit agencies including fiscal challenges and management issues Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to be the face of the organization Strong problem solving skills and the ability to be innovative with limited resources The highest ethical standards and the ability to build a trusting, respectful and consistent working environment Familiarity with basic computer software
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors Degree with a preference for a Masters Degree in social work and/or business. Proven track record of at least three years of successful management and supervisory experience in a social service setting Successful fundraising experience
Salary: $60,000-$75,000 annually plus benefits
